The piece
Olive gold velvet-feel fabric with a soft sheen that shifts from deep moss to bright antique gold as it catches the light. The single-breasted blazer is cut long and lean, with notched lapels, one button, two hip pockets and slim sleeves. The matching trousers fall straight from the hip and flare to a wide hem, for one long column of colour. Excellent condition.
How to wear it
Worn open over a black silk halter-neck top, with black pointed-toe platform sandals hidden under the hems and sculptural brushed-silver drop earrings. Or split the pair: the blazer over a slip dress, the trousers with a fine ivory knit and flat leather slippers.
