The piece
A classic Barbour quilted jacket in olive green, the lightweight Flyweight version that layers easily and packs flat. Diamond quilting throughout, a slim sporty cut, a shirt collar, snap front with five snaps, snap tabs at each side of the waist, and a lighter apple green lining inside. Barbour label at the neck and a small Barbour tab at the left hem. Inside there is a zipped pocket about a hand's width across and a hand's length deep, snug for a phone but right for a slim wallet, a lip balm or a few folded notes. The Barbour style label sits inside that pocket. The Flyweight line uses a light wadding, so this gives shape and a touch of warmth without bulk. Good condition. There is one faint darker patch on the front, just to the right of the placket between the two lowest snaps. It shows in the close-up image and practically disappears at a normal distance, but it is there and shown clearly so you know exactly what you are getting.
How to wear it
Thrown over a striped cotton shirt with straight-leg jeans and leather loafers. Or layered over a fine black turtleneck with tailored trousers and ankle boots for a cleaner, city version.
